Kopylote — Logo for a Travel Agency

Kopylote is a travel agency that wanted an identity directly evoking movement, adventure and discovery — values central to this type of business.
Project background
Kopylote is an online travel agency, designed to reflect a spirit of adventure and reliability, while catching the attention of travellers looking for unique experiences from the moment it launched.
The work
The design features a signature character reminiscent of a co-pilot, a symbol of guidance and safety. Aviator glasses and a moustache add a warm, retro touch, evoking an era when travel meant discovery and wonder. Clean, modern typography balances the design, for a result that's professional and adaptable across every surface.
This logo gave Kopylote a strong, recognisable identity from launch, embodying the agency's goal: to guide its clients through their adventures with reliability and closeness.
Why this style
In the travel sector, standing apart from tourism's generic symbols (plane, globe, palm tree) helps build a distinctive identity rather than blending into the sector's expected codes.
What makes a good travel agency logo?
In tourism, the expected symbols (plane, suitcase, globe) are so widespread that they struggle to tell one agency apart from another. An original, likeable character — like a co-pilot here — helps break away from this generic imagery while keeping an obvious link to travel.
A retro or nostalgic touch works particularly well in this sector: it evokes travel's golden age and a sense of escape, which sells far better than a simple promise of transport logistics.
